WHAT TO KNOW!

Wow!  This is a truly legendary "Instagram-friendly" Via Ferrata containing some truly epic moments.  From the moment you arrive at the top of the via ferrata through a little door in the centre of Murren straight away you start to descend nearer and nearer the mighty cliff edge.  For the next 15 minutes you will feel the tension building as you gradually climb down to face the reason why you came.
When you arrive at the platform where people can go paragliding or base jumping the adrenaline moments of this via ferrata truly start.
A 100m cliff edge section is truly vertiginous with a 500m vertical drop directly below you.  This is the famous moment of this via ferrata and really requires a true head for heights, especially in a few awkwardly placed downward steps.  You can rest once you have completed it!
This is then followed by 2 fantastic monkey bridges over raging rivers, an optional zip line (where a guide is required) and a large number of tricky ladders to descend down, 1 with a slight overhang to it.
Then, the end of this via ferrata is another incredible vertiginous moment with a nerve racking gorge bridge crossing without easy hand rails to guide you.  This iconic finale once again tests your vertigo to the absolute limit.
This is a spectacular Via Ferrata that should be on anyone's wish list.
Indeed in my opinion the only thing that would improve it, is actually reversing the direction, as the constant descent is the only slightly disappointing element.
